On 8th October 2024, the nation was glued to their televisions as votes were counted in Haryana and J&K. While the results in J&K largely aligned with what exit polls had predicted, the results in Haryana came as a surprise to many, as the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) overcame a narrative of anti-incumbency to emerge victorious.
